Q.: I met a fabulous cat in England. The owner said it was a British Blue - Is this a breed - where is there information on these cats?

A.: Yes, this is a breed. Now a days it is called British Shorthair, but originally the name was British Blue, because that was the only color available in the breed then. You can read about "The Brit" here and in CFA's Breed Profile.
