Q.: After a traffic injury - head trauma/has been seen by a vet - we were to ensure it gets water by means of a small syringe, since it doesn't want to/isn't able to drink on its own - how much does it need minimum? A.: The daily fluid need of a cat is roughly 80 ml. per kg. weight. So if your cat weighs app. 3 kg., for example, it would need about 240 ml. a day. |
