Q.: My one indoor cat, Rocky has had a chronic ear mite and ear infection problem. I have treated them consistently on and off for months now, as directed by the family vet. It has been extremely frustrating!
Could there be something else going on with him?

A.: I don't know if your vet has made sure that there are actually ear mites present; some cats produce a lot of ear wax, some times resulting in conditions that look like mites.
The only solution, I think, is to have your vet give the ears a close inspection to find out what this is.
