Q.: We have a female cat, and we would like to know how long a heat will last.
Will she mate all the time despite the fact she may have been mated the first day she showed signs of heat (unbearably loud meowing and her butt lifted high)? She has been kept inside the other days.
Could she be pregnant?

A.: A heat will last from a week to 10 days. She will mate as much as possible for as long as she is in heat.
It is definitely possible that she is pregnant.
