Q.: If a cat goes into heat and gets out, stops heat for a few days, and goes back in does that mean she is not pregnant or can they still be in heat and be pregnant?

A.:  It possible, because a mating will not stop a heat in progress, and because what you have perceived as a stop may only have been a weakened part of the heat.
