Q.: Just installed a cat door. How do you get her to go through it?

A.: The inherent curiosity of cats will probably do the trick sooner or later. You may speed up this by placing a few favorite goodies both inside and outside the door to draw her attention to it.
It is important that you refuse to let her out through any other doors or other entrances she might have used before and instead refer her to the cat door, if for example you find her meowing and wanting to be let out through a "human door".
