Between Cats

Q.:  I have an eleven month Russian Blue female, and my fiancé has two male kittens (strays - approx. four months old).
We will be moving in together soon and I wanted to know what to expect of them and is there anything that I can do to make their adjustments to each other go smoother?
My RB gets jealous very quickly and is very attached to me, whereas she only likes my fiancé when she's in heat.

A.:  She will probably give the kittens a (in your eyes) rough upbringing and try to establish herself as "Queen of the Premises" as quickly as possible. On the other hand, as soon as they (hopefully) recognize her superiority, you shouldn't be surprised to see her also mothering them.
To ease this transition for everybody, I think you should give her all the time and extra love you possible can in the beginning. This, of course, is not easy with an RB, since she's probably already got you 250 %, if I know the breed at all ;-)))
It makes it a lot easier that you are two humans. That way, your fiancé can take care of the kittens and you can concentrate on her.
As a whole, I think the prognosis is good, since they're all three rather young. Had she been eleven years instead of eleven months, it would have been a different story.
