Q.: Every time someone in my family gets out of the shower, my cat loves licking their arms and back! We all use different soaps, and he always has lots of clean water. So why does he do this?!?

A.: Hi! Unfortunately this can only be an educated guess, since we don't have the option that human psychologists have, that is to interview the "patient": I think your cat sees that you are wet and does what he would do if he himself were wet: tries to lick you dry. Social behavior like this is more common in cats than you would think, considering that it is not a group animal to the same extent as for example dogs.
