Pregnancy, Birth, and Kittens

Q.:  My cat was neutered 42 days ago. Can she be pregnant now? She looks like a pregnant cat, and her belly is hard.

A.: I can hardly imagine that; if a cat is so long pregnant that it shows, it's at least half ways, and that means there would have been signs of it already 42 days ago.
The vet would have discovered that, for it's good veterinary practice to check the uterus as well when neutering a female; sometimes it will be best to remove it along with the ovaries.
So if your cat is bigger, and its belly is hard, it's more likely it is sick. It may be (among other things) a very severe obstipation.
So I think you should let your vet have a look at the cat.
