Pregnancy, Birth, and Kittens

Q.: I have a wonderful little kitten (15 months) that I'm incredibly fond of. She gets Royal Canin kitten food as directed on the pack. It says she should have about 50 gr. a day, and she doesn't quite finish it every day.
A couple of days ago she almost quit playing all of a sudden.
When I got her two weeks ago it was full speed all the time, so I wonder why she just lies sleeping all day. She will purr a little if you stroke her.
She gets clean water every day and has lots of good toys. She has also gotten herself a good friend in our old female cat, who has finally taken to her ;)
The kitten's paws and nose seem a little warmer than usual.
Can she be ill?

A.: It is of course possible that she is sick, but another possible explanation could be that she has no settled down so much that she doesn't have to rush around all the time checking everything out.
But since is 15 weeks old, I suppose she is soon due for her booster vaccination, and then you might take it up with the vet then ...
