Health Issues

Q.: My cat has just recently started leaving "skid marks", poop, on the floor. He doesn't poop in the floor, it's just in spots around in 2 rooms of our house, not near his litter box. Any suggestions?
He eats well and is otherwise a very healthy cat. Are there any suggestions for possible homeopathic remedies?

A.: There are two possible reasons as far as I can see: either he has an indigestion which bothers him, or the skid marks are really from his anal glands. These glands may clog up now and then, and one will often see the cat sliding its rump against the floor in an attempt to relieve the problem.
In both cases I think you should get veterinary advice. In case it's an anal gland problem, the vet will be able to teach you how to empty his glands yourself in the future.
