Other Behavior Issues

Q.: I have two female cats, ages six months and one year. The younger one has a bad habit of trying to suckle on the older cat. At first, my older cat pushed her away, but now she allows it.
The kitten was taken from its mother at six weeks, so I knew why she was doing it, but I thought that it would eventually go away but it's not. Is there anything I can do to break her of this habit??

A.: As long as the older cat accepts it, there's no reason to break this habit. It cannot harm either of them, and besides I think it would be very difficult or even impossible to discourage her.
The only one who can break this habit is the older cat, so if she gets tired of it one day, it will stop.
