Pregnancy, Birth, and Kittens

Q.: I have a female cat a little more than five years old, who has had kittens three or fire times before. Now I'd like her to get pregnant again, and then I was wondering if there are any sure signs that a cat is expecting?

A.: You can only 100 % sure if you see all of these phenomena (separately they are strong indications):
- the nipples become larger and red (this would appear about three weeks after the mating)
- the belly grows significantly (about 4th-5th week)
- the cat starts eating much more than usually
